The beginning of a long association – no honeymoon period

We bought the Scuba Compressor at the 2021 Annapolis Sail Boat show and didn’t get a chance to actually try it til we were down in the Keys. That’s when we discovered we were actually underpowered for it. Hindsight being what it is, I should have stuck with the ancient compressor I was gifted.

This started a long process that is still not concluded on being adequately powered to run an Electric compressor on the boat. For those wondering what that means – it needs 30A 110VAC continuous to run. The 3KVW GenSet the boat came with is actually too small.
